A digital fair
Parents, students and teachers donate items to a virtual collection. Buyers pay online, and the money goes to the parent council's or school's account. No cash changing hands, no manual counting.
Who it's for · Schools and universities
Parent councils, student councils and universities organise fairs, collections and swaps every year. It takes a lot of work: tables full of items, counting coins, unclaimed leftovers and accounts kept in a notebook. ReFaber moves all of this online.
The module for schools and universities is in preparation (Phase 5 of the roadmap). Sign up now — the first institutions will help us design it and will be the first to use it.

Put special donations — a class art project or a voucher from a local business — up for an online auction. The whole school community can take part, including parents who can't make it to the school fête.
Textbooks, sports kits, uniforms, instruments — what one year group has outgrown, the next one can use. At universities and in dorms: swapping at every end-of-semester move instead of throwing out furniture and equipment.
Recycling drives with friendly competition between classes and a counter of items returned to circulation. Students learn about the circular economy from their own estimated data, not just from a textbook.
Every transaction is recorded. The parent council can show parents, the head teacher or sponsors how much was raised and what it was spent on. It's also solid material for grant applications.
The school or parent council has a verified profile, and several people (e.g. the treasurer and a class teacher) work in it with their own permissions.
We'll get in touch when the first pilot fairs start.
